The BPA and BPPA recently jointly organised an ‘employability workshop’ at the University of Birmingham. Sessions included ‘writing your CV’, ‘preparing for job interviews’, a session where participants gave ‘mock job talks’, and a Q&A session with members of the BPA Executive Committee. Around 30 PhD students from across the UK took part, and the workshop was a great success, with very positive feedback from participants. We are grateful to the University of Birmingham Graduate School, who provided significant funding for the event.
