The AHRC have announced possible new funding themes as a result of the ‘Future Directions’ consultation, and are inviting comments; click here for information about the themes and how to respond.

The potential themes look better for philosophy than do previous ones; they include ‘Translating Cultures’, which could cover some topics in philosophy of language, ‘Care for the Future’ (moral philosophy and applied ethics), and ‘The Art of Science’ (philosophy of science, epistemology, medical ethics, and other areas).
