Philosophy at the University of Ulster
The University of recently cancelled its hiring process for some new philosophy staff at short notice, and axed its philosophy degree programme (philosophy can now only be taken as part of a combined degree). It looks as though even this level of provision may not survive in the long term. We wrote to the Vice Chancellor to express our regret at this decision in October 2008.
